The Department for Children, Schools and Families aims to create a safe and fulfilling environment for young people in this country to grow up in, and the Children's Plan is their vision of what needs to be done to make this achievable.

In order to reach this point, they have listened to parents, teachers, carers and education professionals, as well as young people themselves, to get an idea of what is currently working and what requires changes.
